Port of Valleyfield

The Port of Valleyfield is located in the city of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, the industrial hub of Southwestern Quebec.

With its strategic geographic position, near the Ontario and United States borders, the Port of Valleyfield provides you with direct access to North America's most important markets.

With only 70 kms separating it from downtown Montreal, Quebec's main market, the Port of Valleyfield is not only your gateway to and from the Great Lakes but it also serves as a satellite port for the Montreal market.

As part of the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence Seaway System, the Port of Valleyfield is thus the ideal location to become the shipping hub for all your import and export needs. Its intermodal facilities allow for great flexibility and multiply the number of end-destinations accessible either by road or rail, via the Port.

Furthermore, the Port of Valleyfield caters to shipping vessels from the four corners of the globe.

The Port offers a direct access to the railway services of CN, CP and CSXT (only Canadian port with direct access). It is located at proximity to the highways 20, 30, 40 and the International Trudeau Airport (Dorval) which is only 30 minutes away.
